Photographer: Fernando Colón

I met New York photographer Fernando Colón backstage at the BCBGMAXAZRIA Mercedes Benz Fashion Week show back in September 2010. Initially, I hated on him because his hair is ‘ALMOST’ better than mine but I got past all of that because Fernando was one of the first photographers that I met who was actually real & cool at MBFW.

Fernando’s hard work in front of the runways of NY, studio & street scenes are totally inspirational. And I got hype when I learned that he was the house photographer for Venexiana, one of my favorite MBFW shows to photograph. He grinds!
