Pull Out My Blade

A few weeks ago, I mentioned needing to get a Karl Lagerfeld switchblade for my next trip to NY. I didn’t know such a thing existed until I saw Cee-Lo’s “Bodies” video. I just had to have one.

After I played the video for the 50-11th time, I actually started calling around to H&M stores looking for one. Each store was like “ummmmm, we don’t sell those.” I felt like an idiot. Cee-Lo, my super husky idol led me on a wild goose chase for a mythical item.

Later, I found out that switchblades were illegal in Michigan according to penal code 750.226a. Who knew?

Whatever the case, “Bodies” is still my jam & this video is the stuff of dreams. An awesome interpretation of violently seductive lyrics.
