Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: Duckie Brown
While shooting the Duckie Brown runway show, I was wondering where I could get those hot hats & hoping that their cloths come in a husky fit.
Admittedly, I probably would not rock some of these look but I found many of them fun, especially the sweaters and spider prints.
Outside of lusting after the fashions, I was confused while I was shooting because the guys just seemed to disappear after they hit the end of the runway. It was right before the end of the show when I took my eye off the camera & looked over to my left to see the guys standing there in live mannequin mode.
It looked pretty cool!

I wish my man would dress in Duckie Brown. The spring collection was a breath of fresh air, showcasing a wide variety of styles, colors, silhouettes and concepts. Venturing from the norm, design duo Daniel Silver and Steven Cox took risks, caught your eye and kept you wanting more.
Mix matching of patterns was a popular theme, as well as light, effortless fabrics. With heavy European inspiration, blazers, knit sweaters, geometric button-ups and plaid pants all took the runway. A great wardrobe for any man–this collection offered simplistic ideas, creatively crafted into unique, one of a kind pieces.
Spotted Fern Mallis (former senior vice president of IMG), Patrick McDonald aka Dandy (Bravo’s Launch My Line) and Robin Givhan (Washington Post fashion editor) sitting front row.
