I <3 Typography
Inspired atfer watching the movie “Helvetica,” which is a font that I happen love.
Typography refers to the arrangement of text on a page, and appears in some form or another in all instances of written communication. Depending on the purpose, typography can be used for optimum readability, impact, or an artistic statement. Some graphic designers work totally in text, and study typography extensively while they perfect their art. Quality typography can make a big difference in communications, because it can impact the way the reader sees and feels about the topic being discussed.
Fonts used in this design include: Arial, Bell Gothic StandardBASEHEAD, Bell Gothic Standard, Helvetica, Matomato, Memoriam Pro, & Myndraine

Ahhh yes, Helvetica is definitely an inspiring film on the art of typography. Glad to see I’m not the only type-junky lurking about the diaspora, lol. Check out “Objectified” also by Gary Hustwit if you haven’t already. Definitley a design head’s film as well. Good post.
My brother, there is an underground movement of fellow Negro type face lovers. We will one day rise. 😉
Just added “Objectified” to my Netflix clue. Looks like a good film.
Did you see “Schmatta: Rags To Riches,” (HBO documentary). I thought it was great. Deals with American fashion design & the death of industry, design jobs & culture.
