A Little Street Drag
So, I’m in NYC, had fresh rolls of film & was taking photos all over the place. Next thing I know, the metering on my little Mamiya started acting funny. I was in full sun, yet the meter said there was not enough light. I was lost but I tried my best to compensate.
Slower shutter speeds, aperture wide open etc. I just hoped that the photos were useable. That’s the cost of using film.
Then I had a moment of clarity…. The camera battery was dead, so I swapped out for a new one & I was back in business.
After processing & scanning the film, the affected images turned out to be cool. A little shutter drag never hurt anyone…

Slow drag…adds nostalgia to this shot. She gives me Carrie Bradshaw, #SexInTheCity
You’re having way better luck than I am with these film SLRs. I was given two of ’em in recent years, and they gave me headaches, literally.
At least one of them gave me some images, but the camera ate up my dang film!
