2010 Detroit Fireworks
As I mentioned in a previous post, this was the 1st year that I ever attended the Detroit fireworks. This occasion was also the 1st time that I photographed any fireworks & it was quite fun to do.
Once I had my settings in place (each image was shot at f/16 with a 6 second exposure & 200 ISO.), the rest was history. I may try to make it to another local fireworks display in the next few weeks to give it another try to see if I can get sharper results as a test to myself. We’ll see! For now, I hope that you enjoy this 1st attempt!
Beautiful pictures! One of these days I’ll make it down to the fireworks, the closest I’ve ever gotten is the roof of the Garden Bowl.
Thx Bethany! It was so cool being right there but I bet being further away was awesome also with the city scape to enjoy as well.
This was so awesome! I am usually in GM’s Winter-garden watching and I missed it sorely this year. This definitely made up for it 🙂
I miss the thunderous rumble through the buildings… *sigh.
Thx Amber! The thundering explosion were something. I was like is kinda scary in a way. And I did jump a few times. LOL!
